IMPORTANT NOTE: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR ONTARIO RESIDENTS ONLY AND IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW.

AMOEBACORP BRANDNEW MAKEOVER CONTEST RULES

  1. No purchase necessary.
  2. Contest is open to Ontario Residents over the age of majority, except employees (or those with whom they are domiciled) of AmoebaCorp, (“Sponsor”) its communications partner john st., prize suppliers (Umbra and The Production Kitchen).
  3. To enter starting on January 18, 2010 complete and submit the entry on-line at www.brandnewcontest.com before 11:59 pm EST February 28, 2010 (“Contest Closing Date”). Limit one entry per person/email address. If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once, all of your entries will be void.
  4. There will be one Grand Prize awarded. The Grand Prize consists of a brand audit and corporate identity for the company or business that the winner works for (“Company”). Prize includes a brand audit, corporate identity (logo and usage guidelines), design application to 1 version of a business card, 1 version of letterhead, 1 version of an envelope, 1 miscellaneous communication piece – scope and value to be determined by Sponsor, $2,000.00 (not including taxes) worth of product and a personal shopping consultation from Umbra, and $6,000 (approximate value) worth of printing to be done by The Production Kitchen. Approximate total prize value $30,000.
  5. Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or otherwise redeemable for cash.
  6. On March 15, 2010 at 10 am, entries will be judged by a panel of judges. Judges will review and judge entries submitted for answers to the online questions. Based on the online submissions, the judges will select 3 finalists for an interview. Following the interview the judges will select the finalist. Entries will be judged based upon the following criteria: the need for the services of AmoebaCorp. The decisions of the contest judges are final in respect of any matter relating to this contest. Odds of winning depend on the number and calibre of entries received. Three finalists will be announced on March 15, 2010. The winner will be announced online at 11 am on March 19, 2010.
  7. The selected 3 finalists for the contest will be contacted by phone about 12 noon on March 15, 2010. Interviews will take place between March 16, 2010 and March 18, 2010. The judges will contact the winner on March 19, 2010. In the event the selected entrant does not claim the prize within 10 days or the Company refuses the prize, the next eligible entry selected will be contacted and the first entrant selected will have no further claim to the prize.
  8. By entering this contest you warrant and represent that your answers to the questions are original and do not infringe the rights of any third party and you grant AmoebaCorp the right in perpetuity to publish your name, Company, answers to the questions in any advertising and promotion without further compensation. By entering this contest you consent to Sponsor, its promotional agencies and contest judges storing and using the personal information you submitted with your entry for the purpose of administering the contest.
  9. All entries become the property of the Sponsor, which assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or down loading any material in the promotion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the e-mail portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the judging panel, which are final.
